Tips on saving space
  1. Default Forwarding Account (catch-all address):
Your Control Panel username is also your "catch-all address," where email sent to invalid names goes (like a lot of spam these days.) If you don't need to collect mail sent to invalid email addresses, you can disable this. Then mail sent to invalid usernames will be rejected and not take up your space. This is a great way to cut back on spam and save space.

To disable the default forwarding address:
Log into the Control Panel: Then click the Email Forwarding link, then click "Manage default address," you will then be able to disable your default address. It will then stop forwarding you e-mail sent to random usernames or any other address that is not an established email or forwarding address for your domain.

2. Set your email software (like Outlook) to delete old email messages from the server. This is usually in the Tools - Accounts - Advanced settings of your email software. You can set it to remove email messages after they're 30 days old, 60 days old etc. This will help save server space and keep your account within quota. In Outlook, you can modify this setting by:
  • Open Outlook
  • Click on Tools, then select Email Accounts
  • Choose View or change existing email accounts and click Next
  • Choose your email account, and click on Edit
  • Click on More Settings and choose the Advanced tab, there you can modify the settings
